Pet Policy:
We do allow1-2 pets per cabin. We ask that for the safety of our guests that these animals be well mannered and people friendly. There is a $20.00 per pet CHARGE per cabin. This charge is not a deposit and will not be refunded. Some pet owners have allowed their pet to roam at will and the animals caused damage, so we had to increase this fee. Animals, larger than 3lbs are not allowed on the furniture. Nor are they to be left alone in a cabin.
Cancellation Policy:
At the time of booking the FULL amount is due for you're intended stay. Should you cancel with-in SEVEN (7) days of your arrival, half of your payment will be refunded to you by check to the mailing address provided. A cancellation within the THREE (3) days of your arrival will result in NO REFUNDS. Be sure of the dates you intend to stay. We are sorry, but we only have two wonderful secluded cabins to offer you and if you cancel, it is to hard to re-book in such a short amount of time. People are planning their vacations ahead of time and if the dates are taken when they are looking to book a vacation, they will make arrangments elsewhere. We are not able to operate as a hotel which has many rooms to offer, please understand. We also ask that you clean up as best you can after yourselves, be respectful as it it were your own place. We are people like you but we are offering you a little peace, for a little while, at a low cost.
CAUTION - FIRE ANTS
Its Fire Ant season again, please be cautious where you are standing around the Cabins and the Lake. We try to keep wasp spray and fire ant killer available so call & ask us for them if you need to dispose a few wasps and fire ants.
NO DISCHARGING OF FIREARMS
The neighbors will call the Sheriff.
FISHING RULES
Note: Please take a picture of your biggest fish being weighed (scales are in the cabins) and then let that fish go. Submit your picture and we will put that picture on our web site with your permission.
1. Enjoy fishing and fish all you want
2. Please DO NOT clean fish inside the cabins or on the porches. Clean them outside and put the guts in the plastic bucket provided. Throw the waste in the water for the catfish.
3. Do not leave fish on a stringer too long. They will die
4. Please - No glass containers around the lake, be careful! our next guests could stepping on your broken glass?
5. Be very careful with the tackle, kids and pets can get hooked.
6. Do not leave bait on the hooks not being used. Animals will eat the bait & hook.
7. Trash cans are provided, please help us keep the lake beautiful for everyone. Keep the lids closed to keep the critters out
8. When possible, separate glass, cans and plastic that can be recycled from the Trash/garbage
Extra Things to Consider:
*Take along some Bug Spray
*An extra pair of old shoes
*Beach Towels
*Walking stick (you can use to knock down cob webs if you take a nature walk)
Remember: You are in the country, there are spiders, snakes of all variety, varmin, bees and other NATURAL living species you may not have encountered in the cities. Nature is beautiful but being in nature can be dangerous if you are not paying attention to what you are doing and where you are walking.
